ARK: Survival Evolved is a game that has been loved by many, and the developer Studio Wildcard announced their new sequel at the 2020's Game Awards: ARK 2.

The follow-up to the successful title will be similar in many ways but with even more content for those who love exploring. Starring Vin Diesel, best known for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise.

When will ARK 2 be released?

ARK 2 doesn’t have a specific release date yet. The developers, Studio Wildcard, have announced a delay in the game's launch to the end of 2024. They have made this decision to ensure they can utilize the full potential of Unreal Engine 5 and deliver the best possible gaming experience.

Will you be able to host private ARK 2 servers?

Studio Wildcard hasn't announced anything about ARK 2 Server Hosting yet, but it's likely that they will take a similar approach to its predecessor ARK: Survival Evolved where you can host your private server.

Which platforms will ARK 2 be released on?

ARK 2 has been confirmed to be an Xbox Series X|S console launch exclusive, also including PC. We might see a PS5 version later down the line, but that remains unclear at this point.
