DatHost Affiliate Program: Agreement

We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program Registration at our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration.

As an affiliate, you earn compensation by generating clicks to our site that convert to a completed sale. After you have been accepted into the Program you may display affiliate links on your site.

The affiliate link is sent to you after the approval of the application. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, yours is the one that counts.

You might or might not be assigned a discount with details and usage sent out via email. If a customer clicks on the affiliate link with the assigned discount, you will receive a commission based on the discounted price. If you’re not assigned a coupon by DatHost then you’re not allowed to promote one.

You are solely responsible for the placement, content, and style of each affiliate link that you place on your site, social media, or for other use for promoting our services, and for ensuring that your affiliate links include the appropriate formatting necessary for us to properly allocate referrals of customers to your account. You may not place the link in a misleading way to any visitor.

You may advertise our services via text links, widgets, banners, or other linking tools; on your site, solicited messages via an electronic messaging system, or other media.

You may not bid for competing keywords that include any variations of DatHost or misspellings in pay-per-click (PPC) programs such as Google Adwords. You may not use your affiliate link(s) in any PPC program. You may not include the brand, and text, DatHost, including variations and/or misspellings, into any ad text which is used to promote your website in a PPC program.

DatHost reserves the right to view and/or reject any and all advertising creative, text, images, or other affiliate assets that result in user traffic being redirected to our site.

For a sale to be eligible to earn a commission, the customer must click on your affiliate link and complete a purchase within 14 days starting from the day of the customer clicking the link. The commission’s schedule is dependent on your selection when signing up, either CPA or Revenue Share.

Option 1: CPA

• Purchase of 1-month DatHost Game Server: € 10.00
• Purchase of 3-month DatHost Game Server: € 20.00
• Purchase of 12-month DatHost Game Server: € 40.00

Option 2: Revenue Share

• Purchase, or renewal, of DatHost Game Server: 20% of the order value, excluding taxes. Purchases and renewals made by customers signed up through your affiliate links need to be made within 24 months from the day of sign-up for you to be eligible for a commission.

The commission structure is flexible and may be set at a different rate for certain affiliates depending on sales volume, or other criteria agreed upon. We reserve the right to disqualify commissions earned in violation of this Agreement.

Commissions earned will be paid within 15 business days after the close of each calendar month, for the commissions earned during the preceding calendar month.

The Minimum Payment Threshold for each month is set to €30. If you earn less than the Payment Threshold during a calendar month, the commission will be rolled over to the next calendar month until the total commission earnings are greater or equal to €30. Payments are paid out via PayPal, and you must have a PayPal account in order to be paid unless other methods have been approved by us.

For legal reasons we also require additional information about you before any commission payment can be sent out, including, but not limited to: Name, Address, Citizenship, and Tax Identification Number. If you cannot provide us with the details required, then we may close your account, terminate this Agreement and withhold any unpaid commissions.

If you have not earned any commissions or logged in to your account within 12 months prior to any given month, then we may close your account, terminate this Agreement and withhold any unpaid commissions.

We use cookies to track the number of clicks and sales made through your affiliate link. In order for you to be eligible for commission on a sale, the cookie needs to be present when the customer completes the purchase.

Cookies are stored for 14 days, starting from the time a customer clicks on your affiliate link. Starting from the day of sign-up, the customer will be marked as a referred customer of yours for the next 24 months.

We have no liability whatsoever for your use of any information or other content available from or through our site, our affiliate linking system, or our site itself. In particular, but not as a limitation thereof, we are not liable for any compensatory, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including damages for loss of business, loss of profits, litigation, or the like), whether based on breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort, product liability or otherwise; nor for any third party claims of any nature, even if advised of the possibility of such damages or claims. We will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of revenue, profits, or data, arising in connection with this Agreement or the Affiliate Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising with respect to this Agreement and the Affiliate Program will not exceed the total commissions paid or payable to you under this Agreement.
