Eventually, they released an Early Access version of the game on February 23, 2023, instead of the full release. This means that the game is not complete, and they will continue to make improvements based on user feedback.
Sons of the Forest has been released on PC via Early Access, and it is currently not available on any other platforms.

While there is no official announcement regarding the game's availability on consoles, considering the predecessor of the game, The Forest, was launched on PlayStation it is possible that the game will be available on other platforms in the future.
